The British Council

AISEN has been working closely with the British Council since its foundation to ensure that international examinations are administered effectively in AISEN schools.

AISEN schools deliver an international curriculum and British Council administered examinations including Checkpoint, IGCSE, O-level, A-Level and IELTS. Many AISEN schools are recognised annually at the British Council/CIE Outstanding Learners Awards ceremony.

In addition to formal examinations, AISEN has worked together with the British Council to promote the Connecting Classrooms programme which is aimed at developing core skills for the 21st century in learners. In January 2018, British Council staff-led training for over 200 teachers from AISEN schools and continues to work with individual AISEN schools.
