One of the objectives of AISEN is to cooperate with other organisations and individuals pursuing the same or similar objectives as AISEN and liaise with the Ministry of Education at the Federal and State levels to ensure best practices. This objective birthed the Influence Policy Group of AISEN.

The Influence Policy Group was established with the mandate to interface with the government, corporations and other like-minded associations. As a result of its efforts, AISEN is now a prominent participant at Lagos State Education stakeholders’ meetings and serves as a bridge between the government and international schools.

To further improve the quality of teaching and learning in all international schools, the Speakers Series was inaugurated. At the Speaker Series, pertinent issues that affect education and general matters are discussed. Participants are presented with a platform to interact with and learn from experts in the industry. The programme is open to government officials, heads of private and public schools, parents as well as interested members of the public. The Speaker Series is an annual event and provides AISEN with the opportunity of influencing and making a positive impact on the delivery of education in Nigeria.

Some of the speakers featured are Lord Michael Hastings of Scarisbrick CBE, Global Head of Corporate Citizenship KPMG International; Dr Christopher Kolade, CON, former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom; Mrs. RonkeSoyombo, Director General, Quality Assurance of the Lagos State Ministry of Education, Odunayo Sanya, MTN Foundation; Sim Shagaya, uLesson.
